Royal Caribbean Group Cruises You Can Join in 2027
A Royal Caribbean group cruise is a block of cabins I reserve at a group rate on one Royal Caribbean sailing — you join it with a deposit, pay on a plan, and sail with a hosted group instead of alone. Royal Caribbean is where I host most of my cruise departures — the 2027 Mother's Day Cruise sails Wonder of the Seas to Perfect Day at CocoCay — and I also organize private group cruises with Royal Caribbean for churches, reunions, and friend groups. I'm Christine, an independent travel advisor; joining my group block costs you no fee and typically protects your rate while public prices move.
The 2027 Royal Caribbean Departure
The hosted sailing open now is the [Mother's Day Cruise](/trips/mothers-day-cruise-2027) on Wonder of the Seas, May 10–14, 2027, round-trip from Miami: Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, and a sea day, built for celebrating the moms in your life — daughters and mothers, whole families, girlfriend crews, and solo travelers are all genuinely welcome. Wonder of the Seas is Oasis-class, the floating-neighborhood ships Royal Caribbean is famous for: Central Park gardens mid-ship, the AquaTheater, a boardwalk with a carousel, and more dining and entertainment than a long weekend can exhaust. Want your own sailing instead? [Request a personal group cruise](/request-group-cruise) and I'll build a Royal Caribbean departure around your group.
Cabins and Real Prices
My group blocks publish real numbers, so here are the Mother's Day sailing's rates — per person, double occupancy, with taxes, fees, and gratuities included. Inside cabin: $736.32. Boardwalk balcony, overlooking the carousel and AquaTheater: $820.32. Central Park balcony, facing the garden: $881.32. Ocean-view balcony: $982.32. The deposit is $100 per person, and rooms booked at the group rate stay fully refundable until the final payment date of February 20, 2027 — which means holding a cabin early is close to risk-free, and early is when the good cabin locations are still available. My honest cabin advice: the Boardwalk and Central Park balconies are the sleeper picks, giving you outdoor space for less than an ocean balcony, and an inside cabin is a smart buy for anyone planning to live on the pool deck.
Perfect Day at CocoCay: Why Both Sailings Stop There
Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, and it's the highest-rated day on most sailings that visit it. The core of the island is free with your cruise: beaches, pools, a freshwater lagoon, food included at the island's restaurants, loungers, and the kind of swimmable turquoise water the Bahamas is famous for. The paid add-ons — Thrill Waterpark with its towering slides, private cabanas, and the new beach-club areas — are there if you want them, skippable if you don't. Both of my 2027 Royal Caribbean groups get a full day there, and it's the day the group photos come from. My practical tip: get off the ship early, claim loungers as a group, and decide about the waterpark pass based on who's actually going to ride the slides — it's worth it for sliders and wasted money for loungers.
How to Reserve Your Cabin
Reserving a spot in either group takes one call to (256) 469-3098 or a note through the [booking page](/book). We confirm which sailing and cabin category fits, I check live availability in the group block, and your deposit — $100 per person on the Mother's Day sailing — locks the cabin. From there you pay at your own pace through the trip's payment link, and I apply each payment to your Royal Caribbean reservation and send the updated invoice, with everything due by the sailing's final payment date. If you're new to cruising entirely, the Oasis departure was built for you, and the first-time cruiser questions — documents, dining, what to pack — are things I walk every new cruiser through personally. Cabins in a group block are finite; the balcony categories go first. Bringing a crew? Tell me the headcount early and I'll cluster your cabins together on the ship, set each household up on its own payment plan, and keep whoever organized it posted on who's booked — the organizer's job on my sailings is picking the sailing, nothing more.

Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing follows demand more than the calendar: the cheapest sailings are non-holiday dates in late August–early December and January–early February, and the best rates are usually caught early, when a sailing opens, or inside a group block with a protected rate. Our group rates are locked when the block is created, so joining early beats waiting for a sale.
